Yoga Outside!

I’m excited to announce we are once again partnering with Community Education Services to raise funds for Our Voices!

Our Voices was started back in 2017 by LaShara Morgan, known to many as Kiesha or Miss Kiesha. It’s a group that supports BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) students in the Winona area.

Practicing outside in this way allows us to get back to our roots as human beings, experiencing the earth, sun, and breeze, rather than visualizing it. I also allows me to get back to my roots as a yoga instructor who is off her mat assisting students rather than on her mat being filmed. All of us can honor the roots of yoga in a meaningful way by contributing to our local BIPOC community.

Tuesdays 8:15-9:15amĀ
We’ll be on the grass on the east side of the high school.

How to Join

Go here and register with Community Education Services. It’s just a 1 time $10 fee for the whole series.

This fee is intentionally small (Thank You Community Ed for you generosity!) so that you can afford to bring your cash donations for Our Voices.

You can also donate through the Our Voices PayPal. If you do this, please let me know just so I can have an idea of how successful we were in our fundraising. Thanks!
