Hi Everyone,

I’ve been so inspired by our practices together! I cherish our community as much as I do our movement and breath.

Our schedule is not changing, but we are coming up on the holiday season. We won’t practice together on Thanksgiving, Thursday Nov. 27th, and I’m still making my decision about Friday the 28th. Please reach out to let me know if you would attend if there’s practice. I am also weighing my needs as we enter into the busy retail season. Thank you for working through this with me.

Creative community events have such a special place in my heart. I want to draw your attention to a couple of them. This Wednesday, Nov. 12th, Sharon Mansur (who many of us have practiced yoga with in the past) is part of the 10 x 10: Dance on Film event at Winona Arts Center. If you are even a little curious about dance and the art form of creating films around it, this promises to be a fantastic event. And there are snacks! More information below. I’m making sure I’m registered right after I send this email!

Mike Munson also has a couple of events coming up. While he hasn’t practiced yoga with us, many of us in our group count ourselves amongst his fans! More information about these are also below.

Lastly, if you go to the videos and meditations on my site you’ll notice it’s password protected. I’m going to send a separate email that won’t also be hosted on my site with the password. My intention isn’t to keep any of you out!

10 x 10: Dance on Film 

Wednesday, November 12 @7:00pm, at WAC (Winona Arts Center, 228 East 5th Street, Winona, MN, Dakota land)

What: a curated selection of dance films from and about Lebanon with Studio Amalgam, Beirut. Presented by The Cedar Tree Project. Featuring work by: Amy Dang, Wafaa Celine Halawi, Dalia Naous & Kinda Hassan, Yara Boustany & Nader Bahsoun, Petra Serhal, Racha Baroud, Lilliane Rahhal, Sharon Mansur, Jana Younes, and Einleil. There will also be homemade Lebanese treats!

Admission donations starting at $10 will go towards supporting Studio Amalgam during their 10th Anniversary season! Donations that night can be made via cash, check or Venmo.
