Please read before tomorrow morning’s class (Friday may 23)

Hey,

As some of you already know, I did eventually test positive for Covid. Which really explains why it was kicking my butt so much! Brett has thankfully remained healthy, and I am on the mend!

I do plan on holding class tomorrow morning but with a little different format than usual including gentle vinyasa movements and Yin postures which consist of longer supported holds. This doesn’t indicate a lasting change of format to the class, I just don’t have the energy to lead a regular practice yet.

In case it’s of concern to you, I’ll be masking tomorrow. I still have a cough, better safe than sorry. If you’d rather zoom in than attend in person, please reach out and I’ll make sure you have the link!

If gentle yoga and long held stretches aren’t your thing, I get it. We will be back to our more regularly scheduled programing next week!

Yin Yoga is the child resulting from the lovely marriage of marital arts and yoga. Its trade mark is long held postures aimed at working with connective tissue. Due to the influence of Chinese medicine we also get a lovely look at the meridians involved. We will be using a lot of the props for support, and I’ll present alternatives to make poses accessible.
